Unfortunately, Professor Tetsuo Hida passed away on February 26, 2008. We all mourn the loss of this dedicated physician, great surgeon and warm colleague. However, with the blessing of the Organizing Committee, we are pleased to announce that the Congress will be held as planned under the name of Professor Hida as Congress President.
